Chicken Keema Matar
I made this for lunch one day as a quick side dish for rasam rice. I had some leftover and used that to make a baked chicken samosa, will be sharing it soon. This recipe is easy to make and you can either make it gravy or dry as you like.

Ingredients for Quick Chicken Keema Matar
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1.5 tsp
- Onion - 1 large chopped finely
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
- Tomatoes - 2 large chopped finely or pureed
- Green Peas - 1.5 cup ( I used frozen)
- Minced Chicken - 500 grams
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder / Malli Podi - 1.5 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder - 1.5 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
- Water if needed

How to Make Quick Chicken Keema Matar
- Heat oil in a pan, add in cumin and let it sizzle.
- Add in onions, chillies and salt. Saute till golden.
- Then add in ginger garlic paste and cook for couple of mins.
- Add in spice powders and mix well.
- Now add in tomatoes and cook till mushy.
- Add in chicken and keep frying to break them up.
- Now cook this for 8 to 10 mins till chicken is done.
- Now add in peas and cook for couple of mins.
- Add in coriander leaves and serve.

Ingredients
- Oil - 2 tblspn

stir that with the masala |

you have to cook this till chicken is done.. It will take around 8 to 10 mins.. I made it dry, if you want gravy, add little water at this stage |

toss well and cook for few more mins.. Add coriander leaves and mix well |
